Nikola Jokic becomes a dad for the second time as coach Michael Malone accidentally reveals Nuggets star’s fiancee has given birth

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has become a father for the second time, and the heartwarming news came to light unexpectedly. During a press conference on Monday, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone casually mentioned that Jokic’s fiancée, Natalija Jokic, had recently given birth to their second child. The revelation caught reporters off guard and sent waves of excitement through the Nuggets’ fan base.

“Nikola’s balancing a lot right now—being a dad of two and leading this team,” Malone said, inadvertently breaking the news. He quickly realized his slip and added with a chuckle, “I hope I didn’t steal their thunder.”

The Jokic family has yet to make an official announcement, but sources close to the couple have confirmed the joyous addition to their growing family. Nikola and Natalija, who have been together since their teenage years in Serbia, welcomed their first daughter, Ognjena, in 2021.

Known for his calm demeanor and focus on family, Jokic expressed his excitement in a brief comment after practice. “Family is everything to me,” he said. “I’m grateful for this blessing.”

Fans and teammates alike are thrilled for the reigning MVP, who continues to excel both on and off the court.
