Breaking news: Georgia RB suffers injury ahead of Sugar Bowl

The Georgia Bulldogs running back Roderick Robinson is not expected to play in the Sugar Bowl against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish after reportedly suffering a lower body injury during practice.

Robinson, who battled injuries for a large portion of the 2024 college football season, returned for the Georgia Tech game and recorded four carries for three yards. He also made an appearance in the SEC championship game against Texas, but did not record any stats. Robinson’s injury is a setback for the sophomore running back, but Georgia has relied heavily on Trevor Etienne and Nate Frazier for the majority of the season.

Georgia is already without standout quarterback Carson Beck for the Sugar Bowl. The Bulldogs are likely to lea on quarterback Gunner Stockton some in the run game.
