Zach LaVine becomes a dad for the third time as coach Donovan accidentally reveals Chicago Bulls star’s partner has given birth

Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine has welcomed his third child, though the announcement didn’t come through the usual channels. Instead, Bulls head coach Billy Donovan inadvertently broke the news during a post-practice press conference.

While addressing the team’s recent performance, Donovan casually mentioned, “Zach’s been doing great, especially considering he’s balancing a new addition to his family.” Reporters quickly caught on, prompting Donovan to clarify. “Oh, uh, yeah—he and his partner just had their third baby,” he said, chuckling nervously. “I guess I let the cat out of the bag.”

LaVine, known for his explosive dunks and smooth shooting, has consistently expressed how much fatherhood means to him. Though he hasn’t yet made a public statement about the new arrival, teammates were quick to share their excitement. “Zach’s an amazing dad. He’s got his hands full now, but if anyone can handle it, it’s him,” said Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan.

Fans on social media flooded LaVine’s accounts with congratulatory messages, despite no official post from the NBA star. While details about the baby’s name and gender remain under wraps, Bulls nation is thrilled for their shooting guard.

As LaVine steps into another season, it’s clear he’ll be balancing two demanding roles: basketball star and devoted dad of three.
