FRISCO, Texas: For the third consecutive year, former Cowboys safety Darren Woodson was selected as a finalist for the 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame class on Saturday. Despite being one of the 15 finalists the past two years, Woodson, who is in his 17th year of eligibility to enter the Hall, has failed to qualify.
In his 19th year of eligibility, former Eagles cornerback Eric Allen is the only finalist with a longer eligibility period. Woodson has received nine semi-final nominations; this is his first opportunity to enter the Canton ranks in the class of 2023. Woodson played in three Super Bowls during his 12 seasons with the Cowboys.
