Justin Faulk Was Not Right Last Season; He Knew It, St. Louis Blues Knew It; Defenseman Is Healthy Again, Feeling Good About 2024-25

Justin Faulk was the first to admit he wasn’t himself last season. The St. Louis Blues defenseman felt off, both physically and mentally, and it showed in his play. Faulk, a key contributor to the Blues’ blueline, struggled to find his rhythm, leaving fans and team officials concerned. The Blues’ coaching staff noticed, but Faulk’s pride and dedication kept him battling through, even as he knew he wasn’t performing at his peak.

“I wasn’t where I needed to be,” Faulk recently acknowledged. “In this league, even a small drop can cost you.” And cost it did, as the Blues’ defense stumbled at times, missing Faulk’s usual confidence and precision.

The good news for Blues fans? Faulk is back to full health and feeling rejuvenated as he prepares for the 2024-25 season. After a dedicated offseason focusing on fitness and mental recovery, Faulk is ready to bring his best game back to the ice. His return to form could be just what the Blues need to solidify their defense and improve their overall performance. “I’m feeling great,” he shared. “I’m ready to play my game and help us win.”
