Another driving force for Schenn is personal pride. After some inconsistency in previous seasons, the captain is laser-focused on proving he still has what it takes to perform at an elite level. His offseason work has been meticulous, improving his conditioning and sharpening his two-way game. “I want to be the best version of myself every night,” he stated.
