Marc Márquez, the eight-time world champion, has found renewed confidence in his ability to push his Honda RC213V to its limits after a challenging start to the 2024 MotoGP season. Speaking ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Spanish rider shared that he’s starting to regain his old form, both mentally and physically.

“I am now able to drive at the limit with more control,” Márquez stated. “The bike has been difficult to handle for much of the season, but after recent adjustments, I feel like I can finally get back to racing the way I used to.”

This marks a significant moment for Márquez, who has faced a tough few seasons filled with injuries and setbacks, including multiple surgeries on his right arm, which impacted his performance. His comeback, however, has been slow, and he has often struggled to find the pace that once made him a dominant force in MotoGP.

The changes in his approach and the adjustments made by the Repsol Honda Team have been paying off. He explained that working closely with his team to fine-tune the bike’s balance and handling has allowed him to unlock more of its potential, especially in high-speed corners where precision is key.

Despite this newfound confidence, Márquez remains cautious. “I still have work to do,” he said, acknowledging that while progress has been made, consistency remains a challenge. “The level of competition in MotoGP is incredibly high, but I’m focused on pushing myself and the bike to its full potential.”

As the British GP approaches, fans and competitors alike will be watching closely to see if Márquez can continue his resurgence and challenge the frontrunners on one of MotoGP’s most iconic circuits.
