UNBELIEVABLE! Former Gators star wants Billy Napier to be sacked for the most bizzare reason

Former Florida football player Janoris Jenkins publicly called for the dismissal of current Gators head coach Billy Napier on Thursday, but his criticism wasn’t focused on the team’s performance. Instead, Jenkins expressed frustration over not being able to secure free sideline tickets.

Jenkins, who played three seasons at Florida and helped the Gators win a national championship, went on to have an 11-year NFL career. Despite being dismissed from the team in 2011 following two marijuana-related incidents, Jenkins appears to have no hard feelings toward his alma mater.

However, his feelings toward Napier are less forgiving. Jenkins took to social media to criticize Napier for not offering tickets to former players and for not engaging with alumni.

“Napier doesn’t know Florida culture… alumni and ex-football players have to pay for game tickets. That’s crazy. He doesn’t even invite us to hang around the facility with the kids. Fire him, Gators. That’s why the program has declined,” Jenkins wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Jenkins went even further, offering his help to restore the program.
