Johnny Wilson declares for NFL Draft, won’t play FSU football’s….

In a move that has caught the attention of Florida State Seminoles fans, star wide receiver Johnny Wilson has officially declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. With this decision, Wilson has also announced that he will not be participating in FSU’s upcoming bowl game, a significant loss for the team as they prepare for one of the most important matches of their season.

Wilson, standing tall at 6-foot-7, has been a dominant force in the Seminoles’ offense. Known for his incredible catch radius, speed, and physicality, he’s been a nightmare matchup for opposing defenders throughout his college career. His combination of size and athleticism has made him one of the most exciting and productive wide receivers in college football, helping propel Florida State back into national prominence.

Despite missing the bowl game, Wilson’s impact on FSU football cannot be overstated. He racked up 40 receptions for over 800 yards and seven touchdowns this season, cementing his status as one of the premier wideouts in the country. His contributions have been critical to FSU’s strong 2023 campaign, and his decision to enter the NFL Draft reflects his readiness to take on the next challenge in his football journey.

Florida State’s head coach, Mike Norvell, expressed his support for Wilson’s decision. “Johnny has been a tremendous player and leader for us,” Norvell said. “While we’ll miss him in the bowl game, we are proud of everything he’s accomplished and excited to see him succeed at the next level.”

Wilson’s absence from the bowl game leaves a void for FSU, but it also creates an opportunity for younger players to step up. For Seminoles fans, while this departure stings, they’ll undoubtedly be cheering for Johnny Wilson as he takes his talents to the NFL.
