The players who are staying with Arizona Football for 2024

Arizona Football has secured the return of several pivotal players for the 2024 season, strengthening their roster as they prepare for another competitive year.

Offensive Line:

Raymond Pulido, who made a significant impact as a freshman, has opted to stay with the Wildcats after initially entering the transfer portal. Pulido had previously turned down offers from top programs like Alabama to join Arizona, and his return is a boost to the offensive line, which will be missing only left tackle Jordan Morgan due to the NFL Draft.

Running Back:

Jordan Washington, a four-star recruit, reaffirmed his commitment to Arizona. Although he hasn’t played college football yet, his speed and potential make him a promising addition alongside Brandon Johnson.

Tight Ends:

Dorian Thomas and Keyan Burnett are both returning to the Wildcats. Thomas, despite not recording stats in his freshman year, will benefit from Tanner McLachlan’s departure to the NFL, creating new opportunities. Burnett, with strong family ties to Arizona, is expected to step into a key role following McLachlan’s exit.

Offensive Line:

Wendell Moe, an All-Pac-12 second-team guard, and Jonah Savaiinaea, an honorable mention right tackle, have both confirmed their returns. Their presence ensures a solid foundation for the offensive line.

Running Back:

Kayden Luke, a preferred walk-on from Tucson, is set to join the team, increasing his chances of making the roster due to recent changes in the running back lineup.

Wide Receiver:

AJ Jones, a redshirt freshman, will return and is expected to have a more prominent role. His height and the team’s needs make him a valuable asset.

Quarterbacks:

Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan, crucial to Arizona’s recent success, will return for the 2024 season. Their commitment signifies a strong foundation for the Wildcats’ offense.

Additional Returns:

Several other players, including offensive linemen Josh Baker and Joe Borjon, and wide receivers Montana Lemonious-Craig, Kevin Green Jr., and Malachi Riley, are also anticipated to return, ensuring depth and experience across the team.
