Leeds United secures permanent transfer of promising striker from Burnley, medicals to be scheduled later this week

Leeds United are highly interested in securing a deal to sign Manuel Benson from Burnley before August 30, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The Belgian journalist reports that the forward is on the verge of leaving Turf Moor, with a permanent departure expected to be confirmed soon.

Personal terms are reportedly not an issue for Leeds, as well as other interested Championship clubs like Sunderland and Norwich City.

Leeds United are preparing a move for Manuel Benson
Fans at Elland Road are eagerly anticipating new signings, particularly after Georginio Rutter’s confirmed transfer to Brighton for £40 million.

With no sell-on fee owed to Hoffenheim, despite rumors, Leeds have even more funds available, and Benson is considered surplus to requirements by their Championship rivals.

This likely means the Whites won’t have to pay a significant fee to Burnley, though there could be additional costs due to the direct competition and the fact that everyone knows Leeds now have substantial cash to spend.
