The post featured a picture of Harrison down on one knee, with the caption, “Forever with my best friend. She said yes!” The post quickly garnered thousands of likes and comments from fans, teammates, and fellow athletes.
In a brief interview, Harrison shared his excitement. “Emily has been my rock through all the highs and lows. I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else. We’ve been through so much together, and I’m just so grateful to have her by my side,” he said, beaming with joy. Emily, who is currently pursuing her degree in nursing, also expressed her happiness. “Michael is the love of my life. We’ve grown up together, and I’ve always known he’s the one.
