The Lions de Trois-Rivières, an affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, have announced the players who have received qualifying offers: Matthew Boucher, Justin Ducharme, Nicolas Guay, Nicolas Larivière, Eric Hjorth, William Lemay, Maxim Trépanier, and Ty Smilanic.
Each ECHL team can protect up to eight players from their end-of-season roster, as of June 22, 2024.
While these eight players have qualifying offers, they cannot be traded until after July 22, 2024. Following this date, trades can occur. If no trade happens, the team retains the players’ rights for the entire 2024-25 season.
