Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said he is feeling good after overcoming an illness

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson reported feeling well after recovering from an illness that caused him to miss four out of the team’s first five practice sessions. Jackson has now completed two consecutive practice sessions without any issues. “I feel wonderful,” Jackson stated. “It’s good to be back out with my guys and the coaching staff.” He noted that he was able to quickly regain his form. “Even though I was down, I stayed focused,” Jackson said. “I knew it was camp time, so even while recovering, I kept my mind on getting better quickly to rejoin my team.” Last season, the 27-year-old Jackson earned his second NFL MVP award, throwing for a career-high 3,678 yards with 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions, and also rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns.
