Tiger Woods celebrates as son Charlie receives championship ring

Charlie Woods is flaunting his new championship ring after winning the high school state golf championship with The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida.

Photos of a jubilant Charlie and his teammates circulated as ‘the Bucs’ celebrated their victory.

Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin joined in the celebration as Charlie donned his championship ring alongside his friends.

Charlie posted scores of 78-76 over two days while representing The Benjamin School, leading his team to win the FHSAA Class A boys golf state championship on Wednesday at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.

At 14, Charlie was the fourth-best player on his five-man team, finishing T-26 overall.

During Tiger’s high school years, the California Interscholastic Federation did not hold a state championship. Instead, Tiger won the CIF’s SoCal Regional in 1991 and was the Southern Section medalist in 1991, 1993, and 1994.

Tiger also became the youngest golfer to win the US Junior Amateur in 1991.

Tiger is expected to compete in The Masters in a few weeks. The 15-time major champion is listed among the expected competitors at Augusta National, although he has not yet confirmed his plans.
