Kansas State rewards head coach Chris Klieman with $44M contract

Kansas State University has rewarded head football coach Chris Klieman with a substantial contract extension, reflecting the school’s confidence in his leadership and vision for the Wildcats’ future. The $44 million deal, which extends his tenure through 2030, underscores Klieman’s pivotal role in revitalizing the program.

In a press conference announcing the extension, Athletic Director Gene Taylor praised Klieman’s achievements. “Chris has transformed our football program,” Taylor stated. “His dedication, leadership, and ability to develop talent have made a significant impact.
