UCF Look To Continue Rollling Through The Summer With More Players Commitments

The UCF staff, led by Gus Malzahn, is once again on an impressive recruiting streak, similar to last year, with seven commitments in the last five days. This surge was anticipated, as Malzahn’s team successfully brought elite players to campus last month, with 17 of the 35 official visitors being classified as “blue-chip” prospects by the 247Composite Score. This marks the highest percentage of blue-chip players visiting UCF in program history. With the talented staff, UCF’s growing reputation as a Power 4 member, and their ambitions to ascend in the recruiting landscape, this success is no surprise.

The streak began with UCF just outside the top fifty in recruiting rankings and kicked off with the commitment of St. Augustine (Fla) wide receiver Carl “CJ” Jenkins. This was followed by commitments from Palm Beach Central (Fla) wide receiver Waden Charles and Roswell (Ga) interior offensive lineman Andrew Stargel on consecutive days. The next day, UCF landed twin Miami Norland (Fla) edge rushers Darryll and Mandrell Desir, as well as Pace (Fla) edge rusher Tylon Lee. Mainland (Fla) defensive lineman Christian Hudson committed the following day. The streak culminated with Armwood (Fla) linebacker Cameron White pledging to the Knights, wrapping up an exciting five days.

So, who might commit next, and how is UCF positioned to secure their top targets?
