The University of Louisville football staff welcomed about 75 prospects to campus on Friday for the 502 BBQ event.
During the event, the staff extended several offers, including one to a promising player from Florida.
Jonathan Adams, an edge rusher from Chiefland High School in Florida, attended the event. After speaking with U of L defensive line coach Mark Hagen, Adams received his first scholarship offer from the Cardinals.
Adams, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 210 pounds, had an impressive junior season with 92 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss, and 10 sacks. He has also attracted interest from Florida State and other schools, recently visiting Florida State’s campus.
More details about his offer will be provided soon.
