247 Sports has given Gordon a three-star rating and ranked him as the No. 31 overall player in Alabama for the class of 2026. Nationally, he is ranked No. 217 in 247 Sports’ industry composite and has offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Tennessee, and others.
Gordon received an offer from Alabama in April after visiting with the new coaching staff, including defensive backs coach Maurice Linguist.
“I chose ‘Bama over any other school because of the connection I have with the coaches and the connection they have with my family,” Gordon told Bama247 after his commitment. “That’s a winning school and they have a new winning staff, so that’s why I chose Alabama.”
With Gordon’s commitment, four-star cornerback Dorian Barney from Carrollton, Georgia, remains Alabama’s sole 2026 commit.
